Q.) What is the Grace Period for Asbestos Certification?

Effective 6-22-07, the Department of Labor & Industries no longer allows a 30-day grace period for refresher training for workers and supervisors. If you take a class after the expiration date on your asbestos card, you will be required to pay a $50 fee and take a state test through EMT, or call the Department of Labor & Industries for a test site list.

Q.) How do I sign up for a class?

EMT offers a variety of options. Email us from the link on our training page, call, or stop in to our office. We also offer on-line training.

Q.) Who needs Hazmat training?

Laboratory workers, people in the construction industry who work with or transport hazardous materials, fire inspectors, utility workers, estimators, clean-up and demolition crews, and many others.

Q.) Does EMT give discount for large groups?

Yes, EMT does offer discounts.

Q.) Does EMT perform on-site training?

Yes, EMT can come to your site. Call for details.
